Cyrus Artisan Rugs

For the past few decades, Cyrus has been investing in the finest creative minds in the artisan rug industry and has commissioned its own private, branded collections. Cyrus Artisan Rugs has since established itself as the largest online retailer of handmade designer rugs and Oriental carpets, featuring exclusive collections of traditional, transitional, contemporary, and tribal area rugs from internationally recognized designers and manufacturers.

Since 1885, Cyrus Artisan Rugs has been sharing the history, culture, and art of artisan rugs with the world. Today, those years of experience have manifested into a one-of-a-kind company dedicated to originality, quality and ultimately the satisfaction of its customers.

Our Journey

The rug industry has been a part of the Farahan family for five generations. Originally established in Iran, the family business has migrated across the world. After exhibiting their artisan rugs in showrooms from London to New York, brothers Arya and Alex Farahan brought the company to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Minnesota Cyrus Rugs showroom was founded in 1988 and has solidified its place in the artisan rug industry.

Commitment

Providing you with a sense of trust and assurance in selecting the perfect rug for your home is the philosophy Cyrus Rugs lives by every day. The Farahan family made the long-term commitment to provide their clients with the best service and best selection of artisan rugs, maintaining the structural and artistic integrity of every hand-selected rug they carry.

Alex Farahan, the youngest member of the Farahan family, is now the managing director for Cyrus Artisan Rugs. Over the past decade, Alex honed his eye for fashion and design, and takes pride in providing some of the most exquisite antique rugs designs and unique color palettes available in rugs today. His passion for and expertise in the business grows every day, and the Farahan family commitment to helping you find a timeless masterpiece to fit your lifestyle is as present today as it was in 1885.
