How do I know if I need a pad?
If a rug is freestanding, a pad will be needed to keep rug in place. If there is something that will secure the rug in place such as a sofa, coffee table or dining room, then a pad will give you the extra cushioned support but is not a required. For wall-to-wall carpeting the LuxeHold pad is suggested. This type of pad has a post consumer fiber that will gently grip the back of your rug to hold it in place without harming your rug or floor.
