Over time, dust becomes embedded in the fibers of a rug, even when the piece hangs on the wall. Fringes can become soiled and disheveled, and colors can become dull under an accumulation of dust and dirt.
We recommend cleaning your rugs once every 5 years. If your rug is placed in a high-traffic area, you may choose to clean it as often as every six months or more. It’s important to know that damage can occur with improper cleaning. That’s where our expert cleaners come in.

Once a rug is dropped off at our showroom, the average turnaround time until the rug is finished is approximately 10 days. We can pick up and deliver your rug for an additional fee. Our process for cleaning rugs starts with inspecting the rug, and noting any damage or stains that may need special attention, and recommending any repairs. Next, the piece is dusted with a powerful vacuum system to loosen and remove particles from the rug. The rug is then submerged in fresh water and a specially formulated solution and hand brushed to clean the fibers. After a final rinse, the rugs are dried in a designated drying room with a controlled climate for quick, clean drying.
